Ready to kick back, relax and enjoy those summer rays? Negative! Before you put away those books, and pull out those dusty bathing suits (hopefully a Miss Fanatic bathing suit is one of them), you have to be prepared to get your future in gear. Rather than dwell on the fact that your professor keeps hounding you about the upcoming research paper due, I advise you to do these 6 things to help clear your mind and get you ready for what’s to come. After a little time and research, you will feel beyond ready to jump start the summer tanning. So start your game plan fanatics–
Brainstorm where you want to be this summer.
Will you be home; are you traveling; are you going to study abroad; going to a different state? What are your ultimate goals, and what are your short-term goals? Write it all down in a web of inspiration, clip out articles, pictures, quotes, and pin them on your wall. You can call it your wall of the future.
Something like this would be really cool!
Make a timeline of your upcoming deadlines and update your to-do list to keep you organized.
The more organized you are, the less stress you will feel when the time crunch begins. Most internships have a deadline, in order to be considered, so do your research and keep tabs of everything that interests you.
Pick out 5 dream internships and ten back-up internships that you want to do.
Re-arrange your resume for each internship that you are interested in, make a list of all the places you are applying to and follow up with each employer for interviews. (It’s still not too late to score an awesome summer internship! Check out this article from HerCampus to help inspire you to preserver.)
Apply to some part time jobs wherever you want to go, to help you earn a little extra income.
I really recommend craigslist to search for jobs, just be careful for the spam!

Maintain a steady workout schedule: “Endorphins make you happy, happy people just don’t [get depressed about graduation].” As Elle Woods would say. I’m sure you’ve been working on that rocking summer body, don’t give up!
Don’t stress too much if you haven’t figured out exactly what you want to do in life. YOU HAVE TIME.
Lastly, exude happiness in all that you do, you may brighten another person’s day, and start a ripple effect of happiness. How wonderful would that be?Here’s something I found on Pinterest, thanks to Domestic Blogger. This should ease your spirits.
Love,
Your Miss. Fanatic Fashionista!

Do something sentimental and special- not superficial and trite. Every couple goes to a fancy dinner and exchanges expensive gifts; it can get cumbersome after a while.
